Half Marathon Training Program
Are you looking to go to the next level with your running? Have you thought about completing a half marathon, but are not sure where to start?
Performance Running Outfitters can help you achieve your goals!
Our Half Marathon Training Program is geared toward the moderately fit runner who has already finished a 5k or 10k and wants more of a challenge with our weekly motivation. This is a progressive course which will focus on completing a longer distance each week.
Performance Running Outfitters will provide a training program, weekly emails with motivation and necessary information for runners. The program will finish by running the Summerfest Rock ‘n Sole Half Marathon on June 14 in Milwaukee. Completing a half marathon will be a rewarding start to your future racing!
It is recommended that you are able to run 4 miles before beginning this program and have an “ok” from a medical professional with a clean bill of health. During the program the group will meet on Saturdays each week for 12 weeks. Runners looking for additional group support are encouraged to attend our Thursday Fun Runs.
